Ginger Crush
Interested in mixed beverages made with ginger beer (particularly Dark and Stormy's and Moscow Mules), familiar with Maine Root Ginger Brew, and inspired by Jeff Morgentahler's "How to make your own ginger beer", I decided to give it a try. My first single bottle batch using Jeff's original recipie turned out pretty well, but too sour for my taste. My second batch, using fresh cara cara and tangelino orange juice is fermenting now.This blog will be an attempt to document thoughts, pictures, and processes as I begin a journey to the perfect ginger beer recipe.
